Mechelle Harrison is a versatile artist who has worked in various mediums. Her work has continued to evolve because she likes to explore new approaches as she perfects her craft. Mechelle started her career as a graphic artist and illustrator for various companies. She started to exhibit in art galleries, which lead her to exhibit in art festivals 16 years ago. The desire for her own creative expression lead her to pursue art shows. Mechelle also has taught art classes to children in the past. She enjoyed watching the little budding artists explore different techniques and develop a greater appreciation of visual art.

Mechelle has exhibited her work throughout Georgia, mid Atlantic and the southeast, and has sold it into private and corporate collections. She has even sold some of her work through the Smithsonian Institution gift shops.

Her love of art lead her to earn a Bachelors Degree of Fine Arts in Illustration from the Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus, Ohio. She resides with her husband and three children in the Atlanta area.
